Dan (Varun) is a 21 year old, who works as a hotel management intern.He is an arrogant and irritatig guy,who very much depend on his friends for each and everything -or that is what we think first.Everything is not as it seems,right?

Shiuli (Banita Sandhu) also works in the same team.She is one year junior to Dan.She is a simple girl who follows the rules and work hard to achieve her goals.They both lives in opposite poles.

She is a girl who loves the night jasmine flowers.Flowers that blossoms in the nights of October and fells down by the dawn.Flowers with a beautiful smell and a short lifetime.....

During new year celebration,Shiuli falls from 30 feet hight.She is hospitalized.Before falling the last thing she asked her friends was -
"Where is Dan?"

What is love? When will it happen? How or Why does it happens? Well,I don't know exactly...I don't think anybody does.....It happens between the words exchanged...between a smile shared....between a careless look....between movements that cannot be explained....

For Dan it was three words - "Where is Dan?"

There are people among us, different from everyone - the man child who needs his friends for everything - the arrogant one -the irritating one - the headache - the guy without a plan for life - the one who merely exists....The one who wears the mask to hide the loneliness. The one who got a sea of love inside him,but nobody to share it....

Dan fells in love with Shiuli - who maybe paralyzed for the rest of her life.He cares for her - more than - his career,his friends,his parents - more than himself.And that is the beauty of those lonely ones - when they falls in love ,there is no conditions applied - they love without boundaries.For them,it is all or nothing.....It is beautiful and tragic at the same time......

October is a beautiful film which connected with me in so many levels.Dan especially...
It will eventually break your heart,but there is a peace in that pain. After all,pain and love are inseparable friends right?
It is not a love story,but a story about love.
