Even though the media is animation,this is not meant for kids.They tell mature stories meant for 18+ viewers.Stories from various genres - science fiction,fantasy,black comedy,horror,mystery - are present..Most of the stories are set in alternative worlds where robots are present,hence the name .It is never a fun ride as some episodes includes a lot of blood and violence (With names like David Fincher in the producer's list,they won't be telling you a fairy tale huh?)The quality of animation is top -notch.and it offers a visual spectacle.

If you are looking for something different to blow off your mind Netflix's new original anthology series is the perfect choice.

Raazi

'Raazi'  is a powerful film with great performances from the cast and the fact that it is not fiction,but a true story,promises goosebumps by the end

The Wake

That is just the tip of the iceberg if we have to discuss about ' The Wake'. The book is divided into two parts - each part containing 5 issues.

In part one,Marine Biologist Lee Archer and team discovers a creature that is a missing link between human and fish - a mere. But they were too late,to discover the whole information and warn the outside world.

200 years later,Leeward,a merehunter girl is looking for a secret that could save the entire world - a world where the sea has taken over most land and humans live in fear of the merepeople.Along with a pirate captain,she starts a journey that will reaveal some long hidden truths.

Remember the feeling when we finished watching 'Inception' for first time? We know it was brilliant and yet there are some missing links here and there. That is how I felt after reading ' The Wake'
Synder crafts a story that spans from the beginning of spices to 200 years in the future,backed by the beautiful art by Sean Murphy.

Good read ( still missing something though,maybe I will give it another try sometime later)

So,there was this trailer by Netflix showing an upcoming comics.It was freaking aweesome and I wondered why on earth is Netflix advertising a comics?

Anyway,I decided to check it out and here it is -The Magic Order.It is written by Mark Miller and art is done by Oliver Coipel (the best part)

When,I reached the back page,where there is an interview with Miller,it hit me - Netflix purchased 'MillerWorld' and is adapting it to movies and live shows - so that's why there was a trailer for a comics - because it is thier business.The idea is pretty awesome as we will get a lot of shows and series ( can't wait for that)

Now the big question - what is the book about? It is about MAGIC.....of course.....and MURDER....

A secret order of Magicians have been fighting the supernatural and protecting the human race for a long time.They are called 'The Magic Order'.But the members of the order are murdered by someone and it is sure dark magic is involved.It is a dangerous time and the remaining members,must stand together....

Great art with a story full of twists and dark secrets...It is not another Harry Potter saga,it is dark and mature.....means NOT FOR KIDS....

Loved it...Great read...

Kingdom

As the days passes,Prince realizes that his life is in danger inside the palace.With a trusted servant he journeys to his mentor,who lives in another corner of the kingdom.As they move through the villages,they discover a plague is spreading among people - a sickness which changes people into man eating monsters. Now,the Prince must protect his subjects from the monsters and stop the sickness from spreading to other areas,or else,there will be nothing left in his land.

'Kingdom' is based on 'The Land Of Gods',a Korean web comics. The show is an absolute delight - Political drama ,mystery and horror.Loved it....Eagerly waiting for season 2

'Innocents' starts as a teenage drama,but by the end of the first episode it changes track into a science fiction mystery thriller.But I will like to cal it a love story and all the love stories does not have a happy ending.

I hope they renew it for next season ..
